On Saturday, 3rd August 2019, Bina Antarbudaya was held a Farewell Party for 148 AFS/KL-YES students Year Program 2019-2020. This farewell party “Gema Cerita Nusantara” brings a story to the stage about a conflict that belongs 2 groups. Those conflicts were described with some of the students who played as a citizen in a country that won a contest, which is played with musical theater. The students divided into 3 groups, the first group played theater, the second group played choir, and the last group played a traditional musical instrument. Our Fresh Returnees also performed for the opening section at this farewell party.
The Farewell Party was conducted by staff along with Bina Antarbudaya’s Volunteers who being generous to train our students. It was our honor to have Mr. Scott E. Hartmann, as representative of the U.S. Embassy, at our stage to congratulate our KL-YES students. The Farewell Party also attended by Ms. Petra Kovacs, as representative of the Hungary embassy, Kak Taufiq Ismail & Kak Irid Agoes (Founder of Bina Antarbudaya), Kak Sinta Kaniawati (Board of Director), Kak Nina Nasution (National Director), and some the board of trustee.
