  • 3 months immersion of intercultural and language learning

  • Participants will be placed in local high schools in Seoul or nearby cities, commuting to school by public transportation such as the subway or bus. The commute typically takes less than 50 minutes. Students will attend classes daily, fully engaging with their classmates in an authentic Korean school setting. 
  • Weekends may include cultural outings, family gatherings, or visits to relatives, depending on the host family’s schedule. Most host families consist of three to five members and live in apartments or villas, sometimes with grandparents as part of the household.

Requirements:

  • Participants’ age: between January 1, 2009 – December 31, 2010 (for the March 2026 program)

  • or January 1, 2009 – August 14, 2011 (for the August 2026 program)

  • Korean A1 Basic Level (upon arrival)

  • Good command of English
