AFS Turkiye’s year program starts on the 1st or 2nd Friday of September In Turkiye schools open usually in the second week of September and ends in Mid-June. There is a 1-week Fall Break in November, 2 week winter break in January and 1-week Spring break in April. Your local chapters will organize Language Lessons at the beginning of the program but we encourage all of you to start studying Turkish on Busuu before coming to Turkiye.
